Ester Saghafi was born in Tabriz, Iran.  She received her Master’s degree in education from the University of Georgia in Athens and her Master’s degree in Library Science from the University of Maryland at College Park.  Sharing her life with Dariush Saghafi has expanded her view and deepened her appreciation of Persian music.  Today, Ester is a Health Sciences Librarian at the Health Science Library System at the University of Pittsburgh.
